About Friends Provident
When
Friends Provident was founded in 1832, it consisted of one
man working in a room over a Bradford confectioner's shop.
From these humble origins, it has grown to become one of the
UK's leading financial services groups and a member of the
FTSE 100 Index of leading UK companies.
Friends Provident has two core businesses: Friends Provident
Life and Pensions (FPLP), which offers a broadly based range
of life and pensions products distributed via Independent
Financial Advisers, controlled channels and business partnerships;
and ISIS Asset Management plc, which manages assets valued
at £58.5bn (as at the end of March 2003).
Friends Provident is committed to being a good corporate
citizen with a strong sense of responsibility to the communities
in which it operates. Through a programme of support for charitable,
cultural, educational and recreational projects, we contribute
to the diverse needs and interests of the community.
