Blackpool solutions - drinking, drugs & smoking

drinking, drugs & smoking | community | relationships

Here are some of the suggestions young people came up with to help solve the problems in their communities.

There should be stricter licensing laws, so pubs don’t open during the day, and parents can’t get drunk while they are looking after children.

Shops selling alcohol should have CCTV to make sure that no alcohol is being sold to under 18s. The police should work hard to enforce licensing laws.

All young people should get proper, understandable information about drugs.

There should be more support for adults and young people who want to stop using drugs or alcohol.

Smoking in public places should be banned.

No more casinos should be built here.
